GoodSports is a non-profit organization with a commitment to share the love of Christ with young people through sports, recreational and educational activities. Practical values, modeled by leaders, center on the word "respect." Through each activity leaders help children learn respect for themselves, others and the environment.
This is Jozef. He is Roma (Gypsy) and lived with his family in a Devinska apartment. He joined GoodSports in 2009 after dropping by the field and watching kids playing baseball. The after-school programs, Little League and summer activities gave him acceptance and enjoyment. On September 1, 2010, Jozef's family was target of an enraged neighbor who used an assault weapon and two hand guns to kill all five family members including Jozef. He was 12 years old.
