Slovakia In Transition

Updated: Jan 18, 2020

November 17, 1989 marked the end of communism in Czechoslovakia; and on January 1, 1993 the Slovak and Czech Republics separated in what is known as the Velvet Divorce.

A need has arisen for quality values-based activities for young people. GoodSports is working to meet this need.
